We are but 20 days into the month of October and are we allowed to say that perhaps its been our biggest and most rewarding month this year?? In between range planning for the next 6 months, receiving in samples, fit shoots, collection launches, warehouse sales and keeping our three little children alive and thriving we also managed to fit in a trip to the other side of Australia to attend one of my oldest friends weddings.
Exhausted, yes. But also inspired and grateful and content. All the good things.
I actually shot our Beach Cottage collection back in September with my beautiful and extremely talented friend Sonya. It was so hard to not share these images sooner!! (I am a sucker for a spontaneous overshare on IG) But I stuck to my guns and was able to quietly perfect both the collection and the shoot images behind the scenes while I patiently waited for October to roll around.
Summing up this range... I would say its pure romance. Our floaty and sheer cotton voile shorties flutter away in the wind, our dreamy Simone Gowns billow off the body and our textured Apricot Delilah Pants were always going to be a complete dream to both shoot and wear.
It's so fulfilling to have this range brought to life online. I've mentioned many times before, my favourite part of this career I have is photographing the collections and then being able to wrap them up into a cohesive and palatable online offering.
We're quickly heading towards our Australian Summer and I just can't wait to style our new collection with our core LWL silhouettes throughout the next few months. We've just had a major move around at the studio and I'll be shooting my first content series in my fresh little corner within the next few days. Keep your eyes peeled !!
